Kyle Taylor is a Memphis-native artist and designer whose work is deeply rooted in problem-solving and visual storytelling. He began his career in public art, gaining recognition for large-scale projects and “art stunts” that celebrated the city. His scope of work ranges from merchandise design for the Memphis Grizzlies to exterior signage design and brand building for various regional companies.

His art practice, primarily painting, uses layers and organic forms to create compositions that feel like “portals to another dimension.” This unique artistic approach is perfectly captured in the interwoven subject matter contained in Memphis Toile. The design intentionally leverages a classic French toile approach to capture iconic motifs celebrating the heart, history, and spirit of Memphis.
